How to get into modeling?

Question

Hey everyone, so im getting interested in modeling and i wanted to know how to go about doing it. im 19, is that too old? im around 5'5 5'6, weight 115lbs, bra size 32. I dont have a portfolio or anything like that. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

Just one suggestion: don't fall for those agencies asking for money. Not even to take your photos for a fee. And as far as I know, they look for girls 5'10'' or more. Good luck.

Put together your own porfolio. Contact a photo place, have a porfolio put together, and then hit the pavement and start contacting modeling agencies. Don't give up though, if it's what you really want. When I first got out of college I went to the Amoco Corp. at the Amoco building in Chicago for 2 weeks straight, everyday, asking to see the HR guy. Finally he saw me, because he saw I was determined. Don't let people tell you you can't do it. You Can!!!!!!!!!!!

go to different agencies. If they ask for money just leave, they are not interested in you, all they care about is money so find a good agency and they will take you or they won't but dont give up after just 1 agency, keep on trying. All you have to do is be confident in yourself and you can and will achieve your dream. Your not to old.. but it depends on what type of modelling your interested in so I'm not sure about your height or weight but you sound perfect

go to a REPUTABLE agency and see if you are a good candidate. If they think you would make a good model they will pay to put a portfolio together for you. If you go somewhere and they want you to invest any money then they are scamming you.
