It was only made illegal in 1937 because the people who used it mostly were latin immigrants. No one has ever died from an overdose on it either. Scientists still debate whether it is addictive.

Absolutely not. It is a gateway drug. It may not be physically addicting, but it is psychologically addicting.

It should be legal to grow weed for your own consumption. And as far as the gateway drug nonsense, alcohol is the primary gateway drug. I guarantee that almost every dopefiend in America started with a can of beer. But the hypocrites in Washington take too much $ from the drug dealer brewers and distillers and ad-whores to dare try and curb the scurge of alcoholism in America. Now plant that bell and let it ring.

Yes, it should be legalized. It is not harmful or addictive. It can be used to relieve many kinds of pain and increase the quality of life for those who use it. If they took enough pain pills to achieve the same result, they would get hooked on "legal" prescription drugs.

No, it should be illegal.
Yes it is addictive, why else do people steal to get money to pay for it. No, it may not be as damaging as other illegal drugs, but Marijuana is addictive.
Drugs, mainly marijuana, are involved of 2/3 of crimes committed.
"It makes people mellow" is also not a legit answer to legalizing marijuana.

yes it should be legall and I don't even smoke now, but did in my younger years and would if it should become legal. I believe that pot is less inhibiting than alcohol and is most certainly ok for those who need it for medical purposes. I do not believe it is the gateway into more harmfuld drugs either.

I think that if pot were legal more people would smoke it, although it isn't addictive, users usually tend to try harder drugs to get an even better high. Also, many dog fighting rings sell, and use marijuana- therefore that would essentially get worse.

actually studies show that after smoking marijuana people are BETTER drivers ...... I used to be able to do factory jobs high on marijuana that I could not do when sober .....

I have not even seen mariuana in 11 years let alone ingested it ,but it is not a danger by any means other than that of being a possible carcinegetic and old people are going to die anyway.......

It's a short step between legalizing pot and legalizing heroin. You can use the same arguments for either, and if you do one, you have to do them all.
