Well its best that you eat alot of nutrients before you have your period. Such as vegetables and fruit , drink lots of water and milk. Don't skip out on any meals. Cause that would only make them worst , so eat morning , noon and night. Also try walking around sometimes for it should enlighten the muslces that are working in you. Plus they say that taking a warm bath helps to so take a soak in the bathtub, or shower. and another thing laying flat stomach down helps to.
hope this helps.

Go home honey. If you really can't get a hot drink like tea or coffee the heat warms your body the same as a heat pad.

If you have access to a pillow you can try putting that around your back in your chair to see if that helps some of this. Also, because of how intense these cramps are I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be going on.
For eating during this time try eating things that are rich in iron by eating things like spinach, raisins, and peanut butter (if not allergic to peanuts of course). By having more iron during this time it can help ease some of the flow that can make this cramping intense til you get to your doctor to see what they say.

If you can stand the taste and texture, try a spoonful of ground Cinnamon. It has heating properties and always works for me. But you have to get past the powdery texture. Drink some water right after.
Or, if you have a coffee shop nearby, try getting some hot apple cider.

You should drink some warm tea or some hot chocolate if accessible. On your lunch break you could leave and stop at a starbucks or something. Walking around during your break should help too. I heard that eatnig chocolate helps too, so maybe a fun size piece of chocolate will help.

I'm sorry I feel your pain. If you can walk around that helps, but you're probably at work. Sitting down makes it worse. Get you some of those heat pads that you stick on your abdomen for cramps...those help me.

Ah, the joys of menstrual periods.... Take some extra strength Tylenol on top of the midol. That should help you. Do they have any vending machines with Tylenol in it? I hope they do!!

working out will help relieve or get rid of cramps all together(on most people), Also taking Advil or midal a day before you start your period will also help.
