Who is Asakura in the anime: The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi?

In ep. 5 Haruhi and the guy, go to a building to find out when that Asakura girl lived. Who is she?

She was the president/classmate of Kyon and Haruhi. She appeared to be a hardworking and athletic, but normal individual. However, we find out that she, like Yuki, is an alien ("humanoid interface"). She decides on her own to kill Kyon, in order to see how Haruhi would react, but Yuki steps in and prevents her from acomplishing her goal. In the end, she herself is the one killed.
