In impoversed, war torn countries, poor women continue to have children, not by choice but because the men force themselves on women regardless of whether they're married to them or not.

Poor women in the US and Canada are simply uninformed of birth control and most of those who have many many children continue to do so because it is, perhaps, the only kind of lives they know. They were possibly also raised in the similar lifestyle. Which should not have to be, because if one survives on welfare, then the government is responsible for their medical (ie., birth control).

In some cases, poor, uneducated, uninformed girls use their bodies to attract men, thinking they can "make someone love them" if they have sex with them... Sadly, these men take advantage of these circumstances, have sex with these girls, dump them when they get pregnant...

So, in these cases, not only are the girls uneducated, uninformed, but so are the men. Men must also be taught to take responsibility for their own actions and make provisions for the children they also brought into the world.

There "must be" worldwide sex education taught in all schools, at a very young age, respect, responsibility, self-love must be taught to anyone who can understand the concept.

Many of these people keep themselves in poverty by having all these children.

As for poor Catholics? They're simply not allowed to practice birth control. Sex must be for procreation alone and not for pure enjoyment.

Yes, it is true, but the reasons why are more complex than you might initially imagine. Worldwide, the poor tend to have more children, but it's not to get more welfare checks (since most governments don't give the poor anything).

Instead, the main reasons are normally:
1) Lack of access to birth control
2) Lack of access to education about birth control
3) High infant mortality rates (you have more children, because you know that many of them won't survive)
4) More help to support the household when they are old enough to work
5) More help to support the parents when they get old, because in many societies there is no safety net to take care of the elderly

Hope that helps...

Because rich people are snobby and are too busy for kids. That's all the enjoyment poor people have. Also, in cases like Africa, the infant mortality rate is so high that they have a lot of kids in hopes that some will survive.

I think that a lot of it has to do with lack of education, and also the lack of resources to purchases birth control.

It's usually because there's a belief that having lots of children will assure you of someone to care for you when you age. If you are poor, you have no hope of a good life when you get so old you can't fend for yourself....in their minds and way of thinking, children are their only hope of a brighter future. People that aren't wrapped up in a career or other wordly pleasures that come from having lots of money will get their pleasure from lots of children...it gives meaning to their lives even if they can't afford them.

yeah its defiantly true, not sure why

especially the Chinese, they breed like rabbits..

yeah i'd say lack of education..

i guess without money they don't have possessions to fulfill a certain void that children may fill..
