Japanese games using white characters?

hai , im not racist but im just thinking why japanese games must use white people as their heroes? for exp resident evil series....they could make it using japanese characters dont u think ? anyway the creators "are" japanese. i think japanese ppl worship the western culture too much! pls dont get angry im just expressing my thoughts

I don't think Resi.Evil is a particularly good example. It's designed as much with a western audience (i.e US and europe) in mind.
I think also, the graphical limitations also don't help. Take Final Fantasy X for example. During the game the characters look fairly white, but during the cut-scenes they have an obvious Japanese look.
Also a lot of Japanese game characters have a history in Manga, and are stylised that way.

Why does it matter? If they want to include white people in there games they can. Your are they only one that ive heard bring this up and i think that its sad how you think about little things like that dont post stupid questions
