I have a Gamecube(I don't like the Wii, so I won't support Nintendo this time) and I was thinking of buying The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, but before I do, I need to know something.

Are the controls for this game like Final Fantasy. If so, I probably won't buy it because I like the patience to play games like that. I like some RPGs, not all.

I need to correct something. I meant to say, I lack the patience to play games like that.

Zelda isn't an RPG; I'm not really sure how it gets dumped into that category all the time. Zelda is an action/adventure game which involves quite a bit of puzzle solving by using items and weapons.

HilPoof is exactly right. The Legend of Zelda games have NEVER been RPGs, I don't understand why so many people think they are. LoZ is an action/adventure game, so no, of course it doesn't have controls like Final Fantasy.

haha, hate to admit this, but since i'm answering this question I'M A BIG DORK! love rpg's the best final fantasy's are for playstation, this one is just an old redo, don't highly recommend.

try the simulators of the old games first. there's also some fun free ones.. like runescape (can get old quick though) or ragnarock (not all servers are free, just search)

check out everyvideogame.com (i think) they have some fun ones, lol, i need a boyfriend. j/k

The controls are just like every previous Zelda game. It's not turn-based combat, its more like God of War or any action/adventure game. ie: press A to swing sword, press R to block.. etc
