You can't upgrade the graphics chip in your laptop.

If you want to be able to play games on a laptop you'll just have to get a better laptop (it doesn't have a video card either, just a bunch of circuits somewhere in the chipset that handles it). The model that has an nVidia graphics chip happens to use the 945PM chipset instead of the 945GM and they can't be interchanged (there were two different motherboards for that model laptop, one with integrated graphics and one with nVidia graphics).

The first thing you need to know is what graphics interface your mother board has. This can probably easily be determined by visiting the acer web site.
Then go to newegg com to find a compatible card . They have honest customer reviews on this site that will help you select the right card for your needs.
