It is wrong, no matter what the situation is. It's one of the 10 commandments....My 21 year old Nephew, who just got caught in this ladies home, is sitting in the county jail. He has a wife & baby..He will be looking at 25 to 30 years. (there are some more charges also). So, NO..stealing is WRONG!!!!!

Taking something that isnt yours hun yes its wrong! You will end up hurting some one no matter what. Although I have a freind, honest to the core and a real hard worker... real gem that girl is, She been working for the same pub 20 years! through loads of tenanats etc... the last boss there, was horrible treated her like dirt under paid her and was generally nasty on the landladys last night (she ended up having to leave as she ran the pub right down) my freind took cash out of the tills, she would never in a million years do anything like this normally but that women had ripped her off loads over the years and so she took some back. Here I would have to support my friend, I know its wrong! but hey she kind of even out a bit!

Not all the time.....if you steal bread to feed your family you are only doing what you can to survive.
Now the kids who go around stealing anything that isn't nailed down are the ones who are doing it for the wrong reasons.

I use to think so no matter the reason then someone asked me if my children were starving would I steal a loaf of bread or a gallon of milk to feed them, And I answered yes to feed my children or to protect them, there is nothing in this world I would not do for them. NOTHING!!!!

someone once said that if a mother steals bread to feed her starving chidren then that is forgivible but if she steal the butter for the bread then its not.
I think this means that stealing things out of desperation and need is justified but stealing out of greed is never right.
Also i think if you steal from someone who stole from can sometimes be justified as well.
What do you think?

no, stealing to feed your starving children I would say was acceptable for the parent, it's the government who allowed them to get to that situation first that's wrong.

If something was never yours to begin with, and you take it without permission, yes that of course is stealing no matter how you look at it. : )

No, I don't think so. I think it depends on your own morals, what you are stealing, and who from. You can't generalize to every situation.
