I would love to , its a time when men were Gentlemen and women were ladies, and best of all kids were not yobs, people were nice to each other. Ok there would be no TV, PCs, or modern stuff, but it would not do us any harm at all to learn to be without those things for a while.

How old fashioned and in what part of the world? As has been pointed out my race might have made life extremely difficult for me in some parts of the world. Instead of looking back I prefer to look to the future when there will be true peace, security and complete happiness under the rule of God's Kingdom in the hands of Christ Jesus. My grandmother has a great view on that kind of nostalgia - and she lived through nearly all of the 20th century: the only good thing about the 'good old days' is that they've gone.

Yes. Especially in those days. I love hearing the my grandparents' stories from those days...well, mostly the 30's.
