yes because then you could save the human race from the flawed path it is now following. you could cure diseases and save lives. i get what you all are saying that knowing everything would result in knowing all bad things but it is a sacrifice that i would be willing to make for the greater good of man kind. if you really think about it if you knew everything you would know a way to make you forget the everything that you know so it comes with an easy out.

Depends entirely on the circumstances.
When I'm looking for my watch in the morning, I'd want to know where my watch was. When I'm going to get lunch partway through the day I'd want to know whether the cash-machine is working or not.

Honestly... I don't want to know all that much, and certainly nothing major. I'd be content to just sticking with things that would make my day-to-day life a little more fluid and efficient.

Yes, I would want to know. The mere pursuit of knowledge is not the end of the game. Having knowledge is only half the battle. USING that knowledge is the other half. Think of what you could accomplish with the knowledge you would possess. Now, it would be up to the rest of the world to take advantage of that knowledge and not everyone would be accepting of the aid you could give.

Everything? Nooo!

If I knew everything then I there would be nothing left to learn, nothing new to experience and nothing new to discover. Besides... there are just certain things that I think I would prefer not to know.

Only if it came with an off switch.
Man is weak. If genuinely offered this, not many could refuse. I don't think I could, but am just as sure I would live to regret my decision. There sure is a lot of bad sh*t that goes on out there that you just don't want to know about .
