Come now J. I can't believe you're that ugly. Seeing as the photos came out you didnea break the camera :-D You're a beautiful soul so it's probably more due to the following:
People who are not "photogenic" because they don't like having their photo taken and are tense, uncomfortable, or otherwise play up around a camera.
Though I haven't done much of it lately, I am quite the amateur photographer and have won several awards for my pictures. I found the above to be true. I knew a lass that was a stark raving beauty, but she didn't show it in photos unless she was un aware of the camera.
People that are uncomfotable around a camera never take good photos unless you're sneaky.

up till my 30"s i thought i was ok,(my mum was told i was photogenic).i think adding a few more years of wear+tear have caught up with me now,cameras do add the pounds and i always look pale(sickly,tired).I love taking lots of fotos tho..cheers AND IM SURE YOUR MUM SLAPPED THE NURSE BACK,all babys are beautiful,remember the ugly duckling or beauty is in the eye of the beholder or ONLY A MOTHER COULD LOVE THAT...cheers

I think I am photogenic...your problem may be the photographer or you...you may want to not try to pose so much, and rather be natural. I find when i take photos of my subjects i yield better results with a more relaxed person

I can primp and preen and 'get ready' all day. And in the end, it still doesn't matter. I still look like I've been sent through a mixing machine in every one of them! lol That's why *I* am usually the one behind the camera taking the pictures.

No for some reason I always look incredibly cross in photos that is the beauty of digital cameras you can erase what you don't like.

Oh my god, no. Especially not when doing SELF portraits. My husband takes fairly decent pictures of me, but it takes a LOT of frames to get one where I don't look like an idiot. I believe I'm FAR better looking in person.

When I was born they put tinted windows on my incubator. Nowadays, I'm that ugly I have to sneak up on my mirror.

I dont think I am...I hate my photo's they look terrible when they come out...however my friends seem to think I am. Mind you having said that my best mate....she looks good on photos all the time.....even when she so drunk she cant walk she still looks good hun! Life can be harsh like that!
