Okay it's now been more than 2 years post Katrina. The city is not back to normal but we're getting there. Except that half of the people are still not back. Perhaps they've put down roots in other places, but I can't imagine living anywhere else. What about you?

Yes I know what it means. I know that I could adjust to life elsewhere, perhaps even thrive, but there's no place like home. Besides, for me it is as the end of that song says "I miss the ones I care for more than I miss New Orleans"

I love New Orleans. The food, drinks, atmosphere..I don't know if half the pop. not coming back is bad. It was too crowded the last time I went. I went to Thailand a couple of years ago after the big tsunami. They said the #s were down. I thought it was crowded. I think I would have hated it pre-tsunami.

That is how I feel about Tennessee. I have never lived there but it is my second home. We all adjust. From what I understand N.O. is very unique. Never been but would love to.

dam big deal. Thats what i thought when i lived in NY. Then i moved to SC and i hated it. In one month i liked it better. So you will get used to it if you move.
