I bought an acer laptop a few weks ago, everytime i log on i have to go into the acer management and connect to the internet manually. I never had to do this with other laptops the internet would just connect automatically. Does anyone know how i can connect to the internet automatically?

If you have the Empowering technology, which you should if it's new, then you can go into your eNet management and go to one of the advanced tabs (or something) and you can set it to automatically connect to the strongest signal present, without having to manually connect it...for wifi, that is. I'm not sure if cable or DSL can be set that way through eNet, or if you have to go into your other connections. Although if you are talking about dial up connections, I don't think you can automatically have it set to auto connect. Good luck.

Call Acer tech support.

They will tell you if you need to call your ISP.

You DID read the Acer User Manual, didn't you?
