does anyone know where the best place is to buy a breast pump that is good but not to costly? roughly how much are they and can you buy them with bottles or not?

I bought mine at babies-r-us. They are expensive, but I recommend buying double pumps and the electric version. It is about $250 and most of them come with bottles or containers. You can always transfer the pumped milk to the bottle of your choice anyways.

My wife had the Avent Isis, which was a hand pump and pretty good. You can buy them with bottles and bags but it is fully compatible with the whole Avent range. Thet sell them in boots I think and probably other baby shops, maybe even Supermarkets in the baby section? A lot of unused ones do come up on ebay and even if they are used the avent ones can go in a steam steriliser so you can sterilise them really easily.

if you can't physically get to a store to buy one, try ebay. otherwise chemists, babystores, even supermarkets carry them.
I recommend Avent brand and you can buy the 'matching' bottles and whole packs that have everything you need in them. You're looking at up to $150.00 AUS

You can buy them practically anywhere - even supermarkets. Mothercare or Boots would be your best bet.
