If I find something special during the year I think a particular person would like I buy it. We don't spend a lot on gifts anymore, most folks either get what they want when they want it or have more than they need already. We do a lot of gift cards. We often spend the money traveling to be together & going out to eat during the holidays, instead of on gifts. Memories with my family are the best gifts I ever receive.

I usually get a late start and rush through it. This year I'll be in Germany for the first 2 weeks of December. I started my shopping last month and I'm almost finished! It feels really good knowing that I'll be baking, decorating and visiting, the two weeks before Christmas, not shopping!

I used to start my shoping during the day after Christmas sales. Now I'm lucky if I get any done before the rush. However, this year I have started already. I've been keeping an eye on sales.

if i could make up my mind to shop the way you do my life would be so much easier but anyway i work in retail and shopping is the last thing i want to do but anyway for all your shoppers the malls always have the better deals and since most chains of stores have no layaways this holiday season will defiantly be interesting

Same here. through out the year i look for sales on things people would like. I use coupons and price matching. Easier to do through out the year then at end of. Pulse with the economy the way it is i have to save money.Good day.

I shop at all stores in their clearance and buy usable stuff.Then when I need a gift,I shop in my closet.My daughters get a few extras out of there.When I can get their perfumes at buy 1 get one 1/2 off,I buy.That way they get a new bottle every year.It will work until they change their fragrance.....

I have some shopping done......I do it through out the year, but always look forward to Black Friday........I am up and out around 2am, waiting in those darn lines.......call me crazy........
