I don't want to set my network to 'private' or stop the E-Mail option.
That would defeat the whole meaning of Y/A, and mean that I've
conceded defeat to the bad guys.

No there isn't, unfortunately.
Just hang in there and ignore the hate mail, by deleting every last nasty message or fight back in a mature way with some wit.
