That's a tough one.If you love your brother get him help/If you call the police he will go to jail for the rest of his life.If it's porn he took off the internet get him to see a scrink.If it's stuff he took himself then send him to jail but you probably won't have to worry about it since everything on this site is monitered by the police I'm sure they are looking into your computer as you read this and they will beat on your door and then find your brother.Either way he needs help.Whether he needs prison depends on if he knew what it was when he got it or if someone just gave it to him and he is afraid to do anything with it,remember if you turn it in to the police you will go to jail as well.Good luck

Tough love here. He has one of 2 choices, get help he is sick and could be a danger to any child, or id call the police.

hmmm... someone told me a few months ago, "who cares what someone does on their computer in their own house" when I brought up the subject of child porn... that is a totally wrong perspective... they told me that they are not condoning child porn but who cares if noone else knows about it, is what they said... to me, all porn leads to trouble... adult, teen and child porn, it's all bad... now, my question is, does your brother live in your house, apartment, condo, etc? you have an obligation to report him, your house or not... and you should also kick him out... if you let him continue this behaviour people will believe you watch/make child porn as well! 43 or not, he's a sick man... and I would kick him out of my house... if it's his house, I'd move the F out... either way, the police should know about this!

As long as he is not ACTING on these desires then there is no reason to report your OWN brother to the police. You will have to live with sending him to jail for months or years. I say this for your own sanity, because if it turns out that he is battling with a serious problem that he hasn't acted out, then to have him labeled as a sex offender will surely send him over the edge and you will probably feel guilty.
You need to do some further investigating to make sure he hasn't injured a child. And if he hasn't, then you might want to talk to him, in a tactful way, about his sexual preferences and your concern. He might be embarrassed and angry, but your support might prevent him from giving in to his desires in the future.

Call The Police. Don't care if he's your brother, Child Porn might lead him to something else. That something else being rape on a child.

I'm not sure I can describe in detail what should happen without violating the community guidelines or making people vomit.
However, for the safety of the children in the community and in accordance with the law, you should report him to the police immediately and have him jailed.

CALL THE POLICE... why would you not do that in the first place??? Sometimes asking the yahoo community is not required to do the moral thing... I know you are scared about what will happen to your brother... but he needs help.

You won't weant to shop your brother to the piolice, as some suggest, but why not tell him you know about it, warn him of the risks, and offer to be of help if he needs it. Also you need to reassure him tht you will not pass on your knowledge to others. good luck.

Call the police. ASAP. He's a danger to children. There is no cure for pedophilia, counselling and love won't do a damn thing.
