Dude, I haven't seen a comic book in almost a year, and I'm ticked. I was loving "Y the Last Man" and I had to miss the last 8 -9 months of the series.
And I have to admit, as a 13-year-old, I loved Amethyst, even though that makes me feel a little girlie, but it was a fantastic, imaginative, and sometimes dark and moody fantasy work.
And then there's anything written by Alan Moore.
And Asterix is a classic by any standard. I love those books.
EDIT: And I forgot about missing the last few issues of Strangers In Paradise. Oh well, I'll get the last Pocket Book when I get back, but still. It's the monthly fix I miss.
Why'd you have to go and ask this question? Now I'm all weepy about my comics.
EDIT: I'm not gay, just because I like Amethyst and use the word 'weepy' Anyone who thinks I am, is just stereotyping gay people, so get over it!

Have never really been a comic book person, though I have recently been collecting the new Buffy comics, which are a continuation of the TV series. Am also excitedly waiting for the Angel comics to be released at the end of the month.

Probably Garfield, but I also LOVE the old Carl Barks Donald Duck comics. Calvin and Hobbs was pretty funny, too.
