No i dont think she would consider it, even tho you are now considered full term that just means that if you go into labour they wont stop it. Doctors usually dont induce unless its for medical reasons or you are 10 days over due.

I requested a social induction with my second baby due to the fact that we live so far away from the hospita land i had to have family fly into look after my first child and they said that they would do it but not untill my due day, because they give you two weeks leway either side of you dates because that show much they can be out, if you are induced at 37 week you may only be 35 weeks cause no one knows exactly when fertilisation happened.
If you have you baby before finals you wont be up to doing them anyway and thereis nothing to say that yourwaters willbreak, they dont haveto break for you to go into labour.
Good luck with everything and hang in ther it will be worth it.

The final month of pregnancy (from what I understand) is critical for lung development. My labor was induced when I was full term because I had pregnancy related high blood pressure and my son ended up having asthma. Maybe that would've happened regardless of how long I had continued the pregnancy, but I can't help thinking that if I'd insisted on continuing my pregnancy longer that he would've had fewer problems.
Bottomline, I know pregnancy is no picnic, especially in the later months, but it is your doctor that should be advising you to induce labor, not the other way around, in my opinion.

It depends on a few factors, 1) if your cervix is ripe enough. 2) if your dates are exact (usually they wont induce until after 40 Weeks because the largest cause of babies being overdue is a miscalculation of dates, so infact they are not overdue at all). 3) a medical reason, pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes or blood pressure problems. I was induced on my due date and it isn't pretty. My labour was longer than with my 1st born, 13hrs against 18hrs or prelabour and another 4 for the actual labour. The prelabour was because of the induction, my boy was just not ready to come out yet. You will have to talk to your Doctor, I understand your reasons, but your baby might not.

They more than likely won't consider it, I went 11 days overdue in the end before they induced me. I wanted to be induced only a week earlier (but I would have still been just over 40 weeks) but they didn't want to know about it

I am being induced at 40 weeks and 5 days.. I wanted to wait until I was a little over. But I have extreme back pain, problems with low amniotic fluid and preeclampsia scares.
I know they don't like to do anything if your cervix is unfavorable, because that ups the risk for emergency c-section. But then again it all depends on your doctor.
You know what is best for your body.. they know what is best for the baby. Trust them.

I would not. Obviously the child remains to be in there for a purpose. It is distinctive if you're past due. But to do it per week forward for no purpose is kinda needless. I can simplest let you know how magical and particular it's to enter hard work on you possess. I did not get the threat with my first 2. my daughter was once 10 days past due and my son had a center arrhythmia. So I was once prompted with each. But my 3rd hard work began on it is possess with my water breaking. IT was once an overly interesting revel in that I would not exchange for some thing. So as anyone who has performed it each approaches, I might advocate you simply permit nature take it is path and permit your frame paintings as it is intended to. It might be some thing you'll under no circumstances omit. I am no longer speaking approximately the discomfort. :)

Probably not but it depends on the situation. If your husband is in the army and has to leave for 12mths then maybe...but if you are just sick of being pregnant....probably not.
Never hurts to ask though, but don't be surprised if she has a chuckle because she has probably heard the same thing a hundred times.
Hang in there if you can. a 37 wk baby still carries risks.

37 weeks is full term, in the sense the baby will be 99% ok however in that last 3 weeks the baby is maturing and growing stll, i think for the babies best, it would be safer and less selfish (not in a horrid way, i remember those last 3 weeks of hell) to let baby stay in their until at least 40 weeks.
