I don't know if I should take my midterm exam today or not. My professor gave us the option of taking the midterm test today (and our final will be worth 25% of our grade) or NOT taking the midterm test and our final being worth 45%. If I don't take the test, I will still get a blank copy and I'll be able to study that for the final.

I studied but I don't think I'm 100% ready.

What would you do? Take the exam today or get a blank copy of the exam and study it for the final, which is cumulative?

Better go for the midterm. It's easier to accumulate grade points by taking smaller tests than one big test. I'd rather take the final that is only 25% of your grade than one that's 45%. What if you're not prepared for that one either? Go for smaller chunks of grades instead of one big boulder. You can do it. You're probably more prepared than you realize.

Not sure about yours but over here, the mid terms are way easier to score as compared to the finals. The questions are all pretty straightfoward.

It may not be so easy to score for the finals.
