Get a plain brown paper bag, lay it over the waxed area. Heat your iron to a warm setting. Keep going over the was until it is all absorbed up on the bag. Keep moving the bag around, using a clean area of it until you have gotten all of the wax up.

Take off what you can by scraping gently. Then put a sheet of brown wrapping paper on the remaining wax, and use a warm iron to melt the wax, by ironing the paper, which will draw up the wax. Change the paper as it absorbs the wax.

my family owns a carpet business and if you take a towel and place it on the wax and then take a iron on the top of the towel it will melt the wax into the towel. So i suggest using a old towel. I have three kids and trust me it works like a charm!! Good luck
