What sort of question is that? Are you American or something? One can be either a bowler or a batsman, sometimes both.There are different types of bowlers, fast, slow, spin etc.Only the recognised bowlers bowl in important games.

there are no regulations. even the keeper can bowl if anyone else be the keeper for the timebeing.
