Yes, he is a qualified surgeon and would not have risen to where he is today if he was not good at his job. You only say this because you know what has been happening in his personal life but if this was any other doctor it would not be an issue.

as a qualified cardiologist, I whould let him examine me and i would like to think that as an intelligent adult that everything about this wouldnt cloud my judgment. will the Trust vett people before they see him? in case they say something?

You also have to look at the reasons for him not dealing with patients at the start. The trust he works for will be assessing peoples reactions to him and gauging if people verbally attack him due to his actions and media speculation. They will be putting the hospital and staff and patients first making sure that gerry returning to work will be safe and beneficial to all

Yes I would...and even the people on here saying no would. If you were very ill and there was a chance you'd never see your loved ones again....you're telling me you'd refuse his treatment and rather die?? I don't care if he had anything to do with her disappearance or not, sorry I'm selfish and think of number one!!!

Of course i would.

And i'd suggest that those who wouldn't, just imagine that he is the only available doctor on a night that their loved one had need for doc. Just watch them rushing to Dr.G.McCann then!

I don't see why not its his job and he is supposed to be a good doctor. you don't get to be a surgeon without been one. its his job and that is fair enough to me.
