Obviously (as this IS the science section) I'm not after the practical side but the Mathematical one.

By the way 1 million dice isn't that much. Barely a barrel full. Toss it over and it is done.

I'd say theres is no difference. Roll one die 1 million times and you'll get 1 million results out of 6 million probabilities. If you roll your full barrel of dices you'll get (besides a big mess) exactly the same: 1 million faces up (1 million results) out of 6 million probabilities (1 million dices x 6 faces each).

You can actually throw 1 die 1 million times. Unless you have a really big hand -- its gonna be pretty difficult to throw 1 million dice 1 time.
