Every job that i have been on there is always this but kissing white woman or man that think they are entitled to know why you are doing this or that and they usually hold the same position as you or have a lower position. I just think that they always have to feel like they are superior and have to know everything under any circumstance. I notice that whites tend to be the best but kissers and are always looking for brownie points from the boss man.

Gay rabbi:
For your info today's whites are rich because of the old money that that most of their forefathers left. The money was obtained through theivery, drug trafficking, laundering, and the slave trade.

On every job I've ever worked, most of the black employees were lazy, rude, and obnoxious. They acted as though they could do anything they wanted without consequence. Perhaps they thought that Affirmative Action would guarantee their jobs. Or maybe they just had sorry a*s attitudes. I don't know, but they sure were awful. How would you like it if I generalized all black people as having the above characteristics? I'm sure you wouldn't like it at all. You would, no doubt, call me a racist. Well, that's the difference between people like you and people like me. I don't make ignorant assumptions about entire groups of people simply because there are a few "bad apples in every bunch".

And, by the way, ALL money is tainted. Where do you think it came from? Where do you think it's been? Oh, were you under the impression that money is less green in the hands of non-whites? GEEZE....

Please note that I meant nothing at all by my Affirmative Action comment. It was merely a matter of speculation as to possible motivations for the above mentioned behaviors.

I can understand Back In Actions point but I must say that is not the experience that I have had in the work place. As the "boss lady." I have some very good employees of all shades, gender and sexual orientation. I do have those that are butt kissers and their lips comes in all shades. Whose fault is it that people do this? Well it is the boss' fault. If I have someone in my office everyday telling on another employee, I start to wonder when are THEY doing their job if they have the time to watch everyone else. I NEVER promote someone that does that. If they cannot show me their merit by hard work and dedication then they will NOT be promoted by me. A "boss" that promotes people the do that causes the "too many chiefs syndrome" as I like to call it. Everyone becomes a rat to get ahead instead of concentrating on the job. This is one of the most detrimental things toward a teamwork mentality. People are not going to work well together if their is tension there. I like to think of myself as a leader and you cannot be a leader when you allow behavior like this.

As far as affirmative action, it just affirms that the Civil Rights Act is followed. I have never seen a quota ever. If someone hired on merit then their workplace is going to be diverse anyway.

If your boss is worth their salt, you need to have a one on one with them. Explain to them that this person is watching everyone and it makes you feel uncomfortable especially since the supervisors have no problem with you. If they are all that they say that they are, then they will handle the situation quickly to promote teamwork.

As far as slavery. The impact of slavery in the USA is not due to Spaniards or Arabs, it is the African slave trade that hurt the USA and still does. Those other groups are irrelevant to the pain that has been caused in the USA.

Of the top ten richest people in the world only two are white Americans.

You are stereotyping a whole race. Not all of us are "butt kissers", and I have no "old money" made from the sufferings of others or drugs, etc.

I dislike nosy people, and "butt kissers", too. But you are letting the bad actions and attitudes of others make you an unpleasant person.

Life is too short to be bitter, and that's how you seem to be.

I think that whites are a curious race of people. If you watch adventure shows on PBS and Animal Planet, you will see that it is always the whites who go out exploring (i.e. swimming with sharks, going on jungle expeditions). They are curious people. So unless they are being nasty or trying to start trouble, I wouldn't let it worry me.

Since you asked an ignorant question I feel obliged to give an ignorant answer. White people are butt kissers because they have come to realize that is the only way to make it in the world. I mean think of it - white people are by far the richest, most successful race out there - and they got there by kissing bootay.

So now that I have given you an ignorant answer I would just like to add one more point to my answer - you sho' is an idiot.

Nice research on whites; write a grant and duplicate the same study on other people of color, publish your findings, and you'll be a hero.

Teamwork makes a company more efficient.
Instead of getting defensive, try cooperating.

Not all White folks have inherited wealth.

Come on now, I'm obviously not white but there is a person like that in every job. And they're not only white! This is why there is so much racism.

You have no answers to this yet, because you havn't asked a very credible question...It has nothing to do with your main question, it's disjointed and you are making a statement, not, asking a question...Try again....Yuke
