What have you found most enjoyable - for me, meeting him comes as number 1, then probably hearing him laugh - it is really infectious at number 2.........

About 3/4 weeks ago, I bent over his crib to see why he was crying for the 1000th time since I put him down the night before. It was about 6 a.m. and we had a difficult evening with no sleep, but as I bent over to take him out of his bed, my son's whole face lit up as he recognised me and smiled the biggest, happiest smile I've ever seen. My tiredness went away immediately and my heart melted.

Son's almost 8 weeks old, so I'm venturing I'll have many more 'best experiences' in the future.

When my seven week old baby tries to get my attention by smiling and making funny sounds. She only started this recently and it is such a joy to see that lovely smile, sometimes she laughs and that just makes me forget that I have hardly had any sleep and I'm tired all the time since she's been born.

Meeting him obviously, best moment of my life. After that, so many to choose from, his first smile at 3 weeks, his first steps (2 days ago), the way he smiles every morning when he wakes up, getting him out of hospital 2 times when he'd been in with a mystery virus...loads.....!!!

Every morning gets better and better, so I'd have to say the best experience I've had so far was this morning. I fall in love with my little pooper more each day and love to see her standing in her crib when I come into her room. She greets me with a gap toothed smile and tries to say "Hi". It's just the best feeling!!

My daughter is 4 months old and my best experience is every morning when I go and pick her up out of her cot once she has woken. Her smile when she sees me for the first time that day is so wide and too precious... it's as if she hasn't seen me for months! Melts my heart everytime!

There are so many it's hard to choose. Probably my 3 month old joyously trying to eat my face as I'm giving her kisses. Just a few minutes ago, she had the giggles in her sleep....I wonder what she was dreaming about.....

Mine has to be that we have had a rough 8 weeks now, with tons of vomit, meds, no sleep, but after I clean her up and calm her down when I am rocking her after we both have been crying she looks up and smiles and it makes it all okay and nothing else matters!!
