can anyone name some good hotels in Toyko, Japan.
i'd like a balance between price and comfort

You have to look at what exactly your budget is and what you consider comfortable. Rooms in hotels in Tokyo generally tend to be a bit smaller, I have never really found this to be a major problem as I'm usually in my room to rest and refresh.

It is hard to give a recommendation without knowing your budget. Generally speaking if you are in the 6000-10000 range you can get a room in what is called a Business hotel, rooms are small but they are nice, clean and private, there are many hotel chains out there. If you have a little higher budget say 16000+ (Yen, you'll need to convert back into your home currency), then any general hotel class hotel like the Keio Plaza, Sheraton, etc might provide you with some more amentities that a business hotel might not.

The Washington Hotel chain is clean and comfortable without breaking the bank.
