Roger is afraid of Nalbandian. Every time he plays the argentine, he seems to collapse mentally, he looks like a normal player and not like the best player of all time. Everyone who knows tennis knows what a fantastic player Nalbandian really is, probably the second best in the world when he's at 100% of his capabilities. But I seriously think Nalbandian has a psychological edge over Roger, it's more than just playing great.

If Nalbandian beats Ferrer (which will be harder for him than beating Roger), he'll win it all.

I think that Rafael Nadal is going to win the final.

As for Roger and David Nalbandian I heard from some of the commentators in the past that even in their junior days that Nalbandian was able to beat Roger several times.

I'd say Nalbandian would easily be the favorite given that the surface suits him well and he is on a hot streak having just won Madrid by beating the number 1,2, and 3 players in the world. Nalbandian definitely has momentum and confidence on his side right now. Its the long haul and long term motivation that is the question about him. He was number 3 and Masters Cup Champ just 2 years ago and now he's fallen into the 20's.

Yep...but, I think it would be better written as, 'Roger was beaten again narrowly by Nalbandian.'

Andy Murray now has a good chance of coming through as Paris Master Cup champion, although I would like to see Nalbandian win the cup. I think Murray is more focused and on a tremendous roll.

hey everyone, yeah roger federer lost again to the same guy for the second time, although it does not mean much.. on the big stage of most events Roger federer always almost always pulls through....

Now, who do i think will win this event... i do not think Nalbandian is going to win it.... no.. he wil be over confident when playing rafal nadal.. he will think nadal is just dangerous on clay and count him out.. nadal is due to win something new.. nalbandian is going to fall short...

i have a theory though... about Roger's defeat.
i think he does not want to finish the Paris tournament simply because Masters Cup is far more important. he didn't win the Paris last year so no points to defend, he chose nalbandian to lose so it wouldn't be an outrage surprise.
i think he is trying to get an extra few days to rest and go to Shanghai early to get ready for the year end event.

And lost eight or so matches this season. He's obviously peaked and created opportunities for others. Notably with the exception of Canas his other conquerors are younger than him which gives the sport some future hope.
