all of you shut up about kobe. It doesnt matter bout how many points he had yes he had a 81 pt game and only 2 assists and the team still lost, yes he scored 45 pts in his first game this season and what happened THEY LOST he missed so many free throws that game anyway. Shaq would've done better a the line than kobe that day. Overall def. D-wade. He proved that when they were 2-0 in the finals and losing both games by double digits and stepped up as a leader and they won 4 games in a row and won the finals. Even with his hurt shoulder he still came back and played some cuz he knew his team needed him. You hear all this talk of kobe and lebron well wait till d-wade comes back at the end of november he will def. make himself known to all of you that have lost focus on him.

I'll tell you guys straight up, if u want a scoring machine, then its Kobe Bryant. But if you are talking about which player is the best overall, meaning scores, passes, rebounds and helps his team win, then its Tim Duncan, no question, 4 championships in 9 years, and he has made the people around him better. When Shaq won the MVP for finals, Kobe was pissed, but wen Parker won the MVP for the finals, Duncan was cool. Great leader and mentor.

Some may say Kobe but that would be wrong. He doesn't make anyone around him better. He is a scoring machine but scoring alone does not win games. The best player is probably Tim Duncan. He makes the whole team better and still gets his stats.

Right now it's Kobe. If you'll ask about the entire season It would be between Kobe and T-Mac.

LOL! Right now?
Well 2 games into the season Kobe is averaging 45.0 points per game.
Tracy McGrady is averaging 38.5 with games of 30 and 47 points.
Carlos Boozer is averaging 31.0 points and 15.5 rebounds per game.
Sooo...take your pick?
