Teach your children well give them love and attention and teach them right and wrong, all of my familys children are well rounded solid children who respect there elders and other children. The problem with this country is its parents, there 2 busy working to notice there children. Come on lets pull together and make this country proud!

I don't hate the UK, I love living here. I'm Irish, and I think that people are great here. Yes it has it's problems, but no where near like other countries problems. You should try living in South America, and then try telling me that the UK is bad, because at least we have a health service (that's free as well), and a benefits system and running water and freedom.
I think the UK is a great place to live. Britain has always been a multicultural country from the dawn of it's history, it's the consequence of being an island that is invaded. But over history we have embraced others cultures and made our own culture stronger and richer with each new addition. We should be proud of this.
Britain is a great country, it's just let down by the Daily Mail readers.

Well, it's a little stupid to insult America in the process. If this country were so horrible, then America would not be a super power. Many of do not agree with our government or admire our media, but our country is greatly judged on things it shouldn't be. And I rarely see slander against the U.K. But I hear a whole lot of crap about Americans daily. It'd be stupid for so many Americans to hate the U.K. when a lot of American's ancestors derived from there. No reason to hate it. But I haven't seen as much slander on the U.K. as I have on the U.S. Then again, perhaps we're just not seeing the same posts.

For the record, I'd love to visit the U.K.

...u.k parent ...i have brought up 8 children and am proud of them all i taught them treat others as you would like them to treat you, sadly it has not turned out that way some of them have been treated very badly. i learn-ed the the rights and wrongs in life, but a big problem hear is the do-gooders who try to tell us how to bring up our kids, then there is the immigrants who bring the bad they have to offer and have turned this country into what it is to-day ther is good and bad everywhere,

Does everyone hate the UK? Sure I've seen some people say they aren't happy here and some criticising, but I reckon there are equal amounts moaning about the US and it's various probelms. If someone isn't moaning about Blair, they're moaning about Bush!

Good onya mate... Australia absorbs a good many that have had a gutful, and choose to cut their losses rather than improve their immediate neighbourhood - each to their own, you don't live on the street that sent them here, a good many have tried to fight for their rights, got nowhere, picked up sticks and emmigrated......the catchcry.."fed-up"

Judging by the thousands flocking here in their droves every year , I would suggest that you are mistaken.
The lure of a free home and generous handouts (at our expense) overcomes the fear of being mugged/shot/stabbed. In fact, many of the incomers have become criminals here themselves. When will this government learn?

I agree about the slating of this country, perhaps one should live in US, gun crimes in school, the medical system and government is a shambles. I would change some things here in UK, but I know which i prefer.

if you wait long enough maybe the few people who do will come and tell you - and then the rest of us can tell them to get a life and screw themselves
