Blast your lash curler for a few seconds w/ a blow dryer to warm it. Test it against your fingers before curling your lashes to make sure it isn't too hot.

Well start off with a heated lash curler hold for about 20 seconds at the roots of your lashes then get a curling and lengthening mascara for drugstore brand I suggest rimmel lash extender it works really well if your willing to spend a little more a lenghthening and curling mascara from MAC or Benefit would work great!
Hope I could help!
EDIT:
To get the most out of your new mascara make sure you apply it right at the roots to give your lashes lift then a bit at the ends for length often a line line in a black or dark grey liner at your lashline makes your eyes look even more wide open and your lashes bigger!

this is what i do:
First i use an eye lash curler, but i place it as close to my eyes as possible but instead of holding it curled for a few seconds, i open and close the curler about 4 or 5 times as that makes them curl better and wont damage the lashes. then i move curler out a bit so its at the middle of lashes and repeat the movement. and then i move it out again and just do the same to the tips of the lashes. this makes them look really nice and curled and long.
then i use benefit bad girl mascara as i think its worth the price as its just so good, the brush is unlike any iv seen before (and iv tried many!!) and gives ur lashes such a lovely look and never ever clumps. sometimes ill curl them one last time with mascara on to finish and use a bit of black eye liner. perfect!! :)

Use an eyelash curler for the curling part. There's nothing that will make your eyelashes longer, but you can use some mascara to highlight what you already have. Apply it with a light even touch.

properly curl your lashes with an eyelash curler..then apply some mascara..this depends on the thickness you prefer..when its all done and dry, curl them once more..
certain products like that of maybelline and the like are really useful..they make the lashes look gorgeous..

lancomes curve vurtuous. its got these fibers in the mascara which attach to your lashes and create length and the brush actually helps to curl your lashes a full 100 degrees. i worked with this mascara all summer at macys it was really great and only $23. new customer favorite.
