I think that's kind of unfair to fans who want to just see a game. Why should you have to wait on a list for a thousand years just to get a chance for them?

Can anyone more familiar with the situation explain this? Do you have to be a season ticket holder to see games?

If they have the fan base to sell out by selling only season tickets then it speaks well of the loyalty of the fans, but i have a feeling that the majority of Packer fans are like me just working class stiffs who could not afford the season ticket package and would like to attend single games. You can probably find some tickets on line for sale from a season ticket holder who cant make it . Best of luck making it to a packers game.

No, dude, you can get the tickets basically for any game. There are always people not going to the games and they are selling them and not for like crazy prices, for normal prices. Like three years ago I'd bought the tickets for the season finale right at the Lambeau 2 week prior the game. So it's nothing really scary and unfair. U gotta want it and u will find the normal way to get it. Not like to pay 5 times more.

No you don't have to be a season ticket holder to go see games. I go to one every season and I am not a season ticket holder.

We go through a ticket agent out of Milwaukee. They get the tickets (have some for every game), from season ticket holders that aren't going to the game.

I am going to the game at Lambeau against the Carolina Panthers. I am going to be 6 rows up and last year I was 4 rows up from the field.

I hope this helps a little bit.

The Pack is owned by the citizens of Green Bay I believe. Hence they can do as they wish. I am sure you could probably get single game tickets for holders that cant/dont want to use them that week.

Personally I think it limits # of fans in stands but maximizes sell outs.

Yes, it is a great idea. It prevents the owner from losing money if late in the season game attendance is reduced by something such as severe weather or the felony arrest of key players. Also they have to pay somebody to sell a seat only once a year instead of for every game.

well....it's true it makes it difficult....but you can get tickets for single games at StubHub.com. But they are ridiculous.....

And no you don't have to be a season ticket holder to see the games......it is just bloody hard to get in, there is a huge waiting list just to get season tickets...and individual ones cost a lot.

They sell them all out years in advance so why not do it? Green Bay is a publicly owned team and probably need the money upfront rather than having to wait and see what the gate brings each week
