Well, Freddie was NOT a "Country" music performer, but if you're requesting information in regards to what country he was from.... or a citizen of....that's a bit involved.
Freddie Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara)(Sep.05.1946 to Nov.24.1991) was a British lead singer, musician and songwriter. BUT he was born of Parsi (Indian) parents on the African island of Zanzibar, at the time a British colony, now part of Tanzania. He spent most of his childhood being educated in India and moved to London with his family when he was 17. Mercury remained a British citizen for the rest of his life.
