Has anyone here ever heard of the band The Black Keys? I am getting really into them but would like info on how they got started and where they perform at.

strangly i wore that shirt today, they are out of Ohio and are currently on Nonesuch records. Their newest joint is "Magic Potion"
Wiki says this about their name: "The band's name was inspired by an artist friend of the band in Akron with schizophrenia, who used the term "black keys" to describe people who weren't quite right."
Recently they toured with Radiohead and are currently working on a new album that will be produced by Danger mouse.
The album "Rubber Band" is my fav and i expect you will see them on some sort of headline tour soon though i dont know of anything.
