A group of Arabian men were removed from an airplane because a passenger heard them speaking Arabic and became concerned.

The other passengers were given an hotel room while these men were kept in an interrogation room.

It ended up that these men actually worked for the US government and trains American Soldiers about Saudi customs, beliefs, etc.

Racism or Needed Customs?

Definitely racism! Maybe we should stop all people who look korean too, oh and China is out to get the USA too, we should pull them all aside and what if the Germans decide to take over again and the russians might act up too. In fact we should stop everyone and interrogate them, because you never know. Stop living in so much fear people! Not everyone is out to get you. How humiliating to those men. So sad! Anyone who thinks this was right should not leave there house and stay home and be paranoid!

That is as sad a story as, unattended bags in the Uk in the seventies, followed by an hour of questioning before being allowed to enter Israel...............sad to say the world has changed since 9/11 - and as you pointed out, to be middle-eastern of appearance is automatically to be be "prepare yourself" at immigration/entry/ checkpoints!

If you read the whole article/backstory it's quite clear that the woman who accused them was extremely racist and also hysterical with irriational fear.

I seriously hope that every single passenger that got delayed because of her idiocy sues her a s s.
