The first thing that you need to do in order to construct the inscribed circle is to bisect the angles.

To bisect an angle you put the point of your compass right on the angle, then make two equidistant marks on each adjacent side. Then place your compass on this mark and draw an arc. Do the same with the other mark. Where the arcs intersect, you mark a point. Use straight edge to connect this point to the angle and you will have the bisector.

Repeat for all 3 angles. All three bisecting lines will meet at one point. Construct the point of intersection.

Use this point as the center and set your compass so it touches a side. This distance is the radius of the inscribed circle. Draw it and you are done.

1) bisect each angle
2) draw the line from the bisected point of the angle to the opposite side of the triangle
3) the point where the three lines intersect is the mid point for the circle you need to draw

...hope this helps!!

o man i did this in geometry..uhm ill try to remember.

1. Find the segment bisector for each side of the triangle.

2. Take a ruler and draw lines untill all of the lines connect at one point.

3. From the point, draw your circle.

I learned this about 4 years ago i might right/wrong i dunno.
