I dont know exactly how to answer this one.
I have a friend who likes to not be a friend when she asks like she is interested in my love life.
She will say things like, "You needed to actually have a relationship before you can get upset or sad over the loss of one..." Instead of validating another persons feelings she demeans the importance of the feelings of others and over emphasizes her own feelings as being more important and her own opinion as the decree of the gods.
She throws veiled insults at anyone who accomplishes anything that might be better than what she has.
This applies to Promotions, Birthdays,Gift Giving...I think there is not one thing that she is NOT jealous over and must downplay to make her own accomplishments seem better or more noble. I seriously have had a hard time maintaining this friendship because she is so totally destructive. I have almost outlasted every other friend she has but she dosen't see this. I dont know how much longer I can maintain though...when a friend cant be happy for your happiness then I believe its time to move on. If that is what you mean about "relationship whisper" then there you have it. :)

i know one person that does that. I try not to associate with the person but hard too when there a family member

i have no use for people like that. if i have to talk to them, it would be very little and straight to the point.
