little question the human soul is immortal. it is obviously seen in many Scriptures in the two the old and New Testaments: Psalm 22:26; 23:6; 40 9:7-9; Ecclesiastes 12:7; Daniel 12:2-3; Matthew 25:40 six; and a million Corinthians 15:12-19. Daniel 12:2 says, “Multitudes who sleep interior the airborne dirt and mud of the earth will unsleeping: some to eternal existence, others to shame and eternal contempt.” further, Jesus Himself stated that the depraved “will pass away to eternal punishment, however the righteous to eternal existence” (Matthew 25:40 six). With an identical Greek word used to consult from the two “punishment” and “existence,” this is sparkling that the two the depraved and the righteous have an eternal/immortal soul. The unmistakable coaching of the Bible is that one and all human beings, whether or no longer they're saved or lost, will exist without end, in the two heaven or hell. genuine existence or religious existence does not quit while our fleshly bodies pass away in dying. Our souls will stay continuously, the two interior the presence of God in heaven if we are saved, or in punishment in hell if we reject God’s present of salvation. in certainty, the promise of the Bible is that no longer in basic terms will our souls stay continuously, yet additionally that our bodies would be resurrected. This desire of a actual resurrection is on the very heart of the Christian faith (a million Corinthians 15:12-19). on an identical time as all souls are immortal, this is important bear in mind that we are no longer eternal interior an identical way that God is. God is the sole particularly eternal being in that He on my own is without beginning up or end. God has continually existed and could continually stay to tell the story. All different sentient creatures, whether or no longer they're human or angelic, are finite in that they had a beginning up. on an identical time as our souls will stay continuously as quickly as we come into being, the Bible does not help the thought our souls have continually existed. Our souls are immortal, as this is how God created them, yet they did have a beginning up; there became a time they did no longer exist.

I asked a mentor once what she thought the soul was. She said "Mind, emotions and will." She said she remembered it being taught to her, and the clue to remembering it was that it says "mew."
It does seem to me that soul, which I also liken with spirit, is necessary even for life itself... so, yes, soul is definitely somewhere behind the process of thought.
I think it may sometimes be pretty far behind, like a parent to a grown child, but it has to be there somewhere. It is an integral part of life itself, and so, like the parent, is part of the process of thought. We have "inspiration," and "flights of fancy," and sort of "connect-the-dots" thoughts... all kinds of thoughts!... and they all remain within the scope of the soul... "Mind, emotions and will," and even if that is not what one holds true, I think most people would agree that life is somehow, sometimes spiritual, and our thoughts usually spring from that deep well.
You have a great day, too!

No action or thoughtht can be performed without the soul behind the action. The soul is who we are thoug we may not be understanding our actual position. We are not this mind, body or intellect. We are all eternal spirit sous who are meant to serve the supreme Lord. But we have free will so if we don't consciously accept this position we will then serve Gods external illusory energy Maya. Everyone must serve though. Energy always comes from the energetic. Thought is energy.

No evidence of a soul. What is behind the process of thought is years of learning and centuries of wisdom and science. (well at least in some.)

Soul doesn't do anything.
Its the mind that starts a thought process.

Hi Third. Generally, yes, when the thinking is deliberative and slow, as when one has a big decision ringed with emotion.
But when it is "everyday" thinking using basic principles we do not have to think "about," then it is reversed. The thinking supports the soul and makes it stronger by proving its mettle.

If you are able to remember and be in the state-specific qualia of your inner child, your happy childlike memories, that is "soul."
When one thinks in that quality, one is thinking soulfully.
When one wakes naturally in the morning, in alpha wave, intuiting dream emotion as a child, and as a child moves into beta waking qualia, one strengthens one's soulfield coherence.
Genuinely asking in one's childlike nature, sincerely, fervently, for God to make one a better person, protect one's soul while one's body rests at night, promotes this process.
Over time, one as ad-ult champions the inner child, the inner sense, the innocence, the coherence. One's waking subconscious is strengthened, more connectively becomes one's conscious in sleep and post-passing.
If one cares to experiment in the laboratory of one's being, noting how one's inner child is abandoned, no longer championed, during the hurly-burly or avaricious change from caring ad-ult to synthetic self-ishness, during the day, provides an opportunity for healing meditation during evening, and asking for same during sleep.
"Watch Your Dreams," Colton, "Man's Two Natures: Human and Divine," Aivanhov, "Climb the Highest Mountain," Mark Prophet, are worthwhile.
cordially,
j.
