No way! If I had my time again I would have got a part time job when I was 15 to stay saving for Uni. There are student loans and etc here, but I don't want to spend the rest of my life paying it back. I want to go traveling when I finish Uni and not have to worry about paying it back.

It's good to plan ahead because you'll know what you're interested in and you can plan your future. Don't be surprised if it changes though. It's also good because you'll know what subjects to take at school! =]

Honestly, it's never too early. As a college freshman right now, I wish I was thinking about my future that early. Not to scare you, but it truly is a good idea to start looking into it now. Don't get too worked up about it, but get an idea as far as what you want to get into, and if you want to head off for school or be close to home. It's a big decision, so take the next 3 years to make sure it's the right one. Good luck!

I have my BA and it took me 5 1/2 years total. If I had to do it all over again, I would have taken more college prep (AP) classes where you get college credit (after you pass the test). It would have saved me a year of school, probably. It's not too early. I had friends that took forever in college because they kept changing their minds and couldn't figure out what they wanted to do. Good luck!

I dont think so. I am 15 and trying to find a college I want to go to. I already decided on a major. Go to www.princetonreview.com . They have profiles on almost every college, major, and job so you can find the right one.

Fifteen is good. It gives you time to think about what you want to do with your life. What do you want to study? Where do you want to live? What kinds of grades do you have? How much pressure can you handle? How far/close to home do you want to be? How is all of this going to be financed? Who's going to pay? I made my decision at 13. Now 50 years later, I have the degrees, the profession, the experiences. I like all of the choices I made.

Yes. At least wait until you are beginning your Senior year. No sense in worrying about college while you're still young. Just enjoy your adolescence for awhile
