Go to a library and check out the Sociology section. You will find your answers in those texts. I should know as I was a Sociology major (Yes, I got my degree LOL)

Modernity, I had never heard of and looked up. It says "having to do with modernism".
Modernism is a time period that contains a lot of new ideas in a certain area or a fresh sweeping departure from the way things used to be. The term might stick around after the novelty of the era gets surpassed. We still call 1950's architecture and design modern.
Modernization is a characteristic of advancing or being updated, usually technology. When I think of this word, I don't think of form so much as function. Modernization of a factory...modernization of an appliance, modernization of a society. Adding new stuff that wasn't available before.

Modernization is really about keeping up with times, but not necessarily in terms of culture or thinking. Certain Gulf Arab countries, like Saudi Arabia and Kuwait for example are modern in that they have the latest technology applied almost everywhere. Westernization is the assimilation into Western ideals and culture. Hong Kong is a very westernized state because it has adopted Western ideals into its society. Saudi Arabia though, is modernized but definitely not Westernized. Its values are strictly Islamic.

I suspect it depends who's asking. For example, the words may have come to have more specific definitions than in the dictionary for fields like architecture, graphic design, furniture, antiques, music composition, art history, landscaping. You might want to narrow down your question to one of these if you don't get the answer you need soon. Good luck
