This one's not a contest, I'm afraid. Put Patsy up against anybody living or dead, and she's going to win. God took her early out of just wanting her on the radio in Heaven, I'm afraid.

Though I have this by both artist and yes they do sound remakably simular there is a certain feeling in the Patsy Cline version that is missing with Lorrie Morgan.
So it is Patsy Cline.

PATSY CLINE/ WHAT A VOICE AND A TRAGIC LIFE TO GO WITH IT.
LORRIE HAD IT BAD FOR A WHILE BUT WAS BORN INTO COUNTRY.
PATSY HAD TO CLIMB THE LADDER AS A WOMAN.

OK NOW YOUR TURN:

WILLIE NELSON OR ELVIS--"YOU WERE ALWAYS ON MY MIND"

Probably biased because of Patsy's contribution to popularising country,so. Patsy. Brenda Lee made a good job of it also
