In case you're careless about the nicknames of our cricketers,

Anil Kumble = Jumbo

& I have given him a new name - BROTHER JUMBO

Just like i gave a nickname to The Great Khali - Khali boy
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Though i am in favour of '1' captain for both test & odi team but i really believe it will be a great move to make Brother Jumbo as our test captain.
*******Advantage - Brother Jumbo is a cool dude. He never takes any pressure. So, by making him the captain, Dhoni,Sachin, Rahul will be able to play without much pressure of captaincy.
Do you remember what happened last time when Pakistan team was in India? Ganguly was struggling with his form 7 as a result we suffered a lot. We were the better team but just bcz our captain was under pressure, the whole team went on to the backfoot.
Making Brother Jumbo, the test captain would be a great move.
Damn, India needs genius people like me.
Camel (lol) - Yes,i am talking about a short term captaincy. Specially this Indo-Pak series.
We all know that there will be a lot media pressure. Anil is the right man to handle with all this stuff.
Of course,we need to find someone for future but for this series, i think Anil is perfect to lead the team.
I am all for Brother Jumbo (for this test series atleast)
O IT's True!, Anil is the MOST deserved person to the captain of INDIAN team since 2000, His Determination, spirit etc. will be a true lesson for the young cricketers, From an international career spanning over two decades Kumble has a wealth of cricketing experience and brings a top class Captain in him. With a clever mix of top-spinners, googlies, leg-breaks, flight and a variation of pace, he has outwitted many a batsman. He can do with captaincy too. When he gota broken jaw in match against WI, despite of doctors advice of not to play he came back to bowling n succeded even taking brian lara's wicket, tht's t determination a player wants!!!!!!!
Anil Kumble is already 37. How much longer can he go? Perhaps he can do a good job for a year or so, but I believe that the Indian team needs a consistent captain who can grow with the younger players. Someone who is there to guide them for a good amount of time, so they form a bond and don't have to keep adjusting to new leaders. Especially since many top players like Dravid, Tendulkar, Ganguly are nearing the end of their careers, a big factor for India's future success will be how they manage their young talent.
I think that tactically in terms of a series or two series, Kumble would make a good captain, but I think India has to think of the long run, and how their team would evolve in terms of young players coming up, and in that case they need a captain who can continue for longer.
If selectorss decide to have seperate captain for test matches, Anil Kumble will be thed ideal choice. The captaincy will also motivate him to perform still better.
He is a very calm , cool and non-controversial player and liked by all the players.
Good, though it is too late almost at the end of career..Yet he is better than the rest for the Pak series and Australian tour.
hi friend you are right, selectors should consider Jambo for Test captaincy.........Jambo is consistent performer and ,of cures, cool and unfaiz,Jambo had taken 10 witk against Pak so it will be psychological advantage for IND. ...and now the has come for TEAM INDIA to have split captaincy
