What are the United States Laws in regards to situations like this? Is it legal for people to carry weapons such as swords and other dangerous weapons on their persons in public? Technically they are not concealed and after doing a brief google search, there was nothing on the subject. Does anyone have any more knowledge?

Some states it is legal, some states it is illegal, some states you need a permit.

EXAMPLE:
Arizona law states that it must be visable, or you have to have a CCW. Sword canes are considered concealed.

New York law states that it is illegal to carry a knife of any sort with a blade longer than 4", and a sword is considered a knife in New York by law.
New York also bans the "wear outside of his or her clothing or carry in open view any knife with an exposed or unexposed blade"

Depends on the laws of the area in which you carry it. Do your research.

I would advise against carrying it even if it was legal. People would feel threated around you. Also the police will be coming your way.
