I charge it and leave it on and within hours it's bleeping and then dies. I make perhaps 4-5 calls in that time.No games, but I sometimes check the news on the net.

bad battery. Tell your service provider. They'll send you another free of charge. Send them back the bad battery to prove to them.

Or if it's like my Verizon phone... I could only talk on it for like an hour and it would drain so quickly. Turn off backlights, or reduce the time the light is on it is on while it is in use.

It could be that you're getting an analog signal, as opposed to a digital signal. If you're in an area that gets only analog, then you'll use up a lot of power. If you're a Verizon subscriber, try dialing *228 and press option 2. That will update your phone with the most recent network information (such as tower locations, etc.) Also try taking the battery off and putting it back on.

It all depends on how you're using your phone. If you spend a lot of time talking on it, if you play lots of games on it, and if you send lots of text messages with it it'll drain your batteries a lot faster. I've had 6 different cell phones and i've discovered that the batteries never last as long as the manufacturers say they will.

Either the battery is screwed or the charge indicator is telling you it's fully charged when it's not
