Well, considering that there are pending war crimes charges waiting for him in The Hague, yes I bet he does have some regrets because once we get a Democratic controlled White House he will have to be looking over his shoulder all the time, fearing the man will come to get him and hand him over to the proper authorities.

When I was taking my Finance class in college. The professor was an ex Navy civilian officer.
His work scope is to perform NPV and IRR analysis for battles and wars. A value has been assigned to the soldiers by rank as variable cost. Whereas the equipment will be the capital outlay.
Cash inflow in Iraq's case will be the income generated by controlling the 2nd largest oil reserve in the world the return on Bushes Texas oil reserves plus the value of US government strategic oil reserves (in case they need to issue more treasury notes).
So to answer your question it is a project under calculated risk and the return is good for individuals and corporate but not so good for politicians. But who cares there will be no tribunal to trial them for war crimes as there is one for Saddam.
Since they preach for democracy so much maybe the world should cast a vote on whether they are guilty of war crimes...
Regrets? ha ha ha. He might be playing golf on the augusta fields right now when the american soldiers are getting a tan under the babylon sun...
It is part and parcel of their commitment to their election campaign supporter - the armament industries...just take a few minutes to surf the net which party strated more conflicts and wars? Republican or Democrats...
All I know is that Carter and Al Gore received the Nobel Prize for peace...

Rumsfeld is retired. -And probably THANKING GOD he's not in Washington- anymore. What happens in Iraq now- He could probably care less. He was hired by & followed the "Decider's" Orders- & collected his pay. How things turned out is the Voter's "Problem"- not His. :(

If he does not have regrets, he should because he played a NEGATIVE part in this war. I guess he is laughing at Americans all the way to the bank.......

You know, I don't think he does have any regrets over Iraq. My sense of him is that he is basically evil. I'm not a mind reader so how would I know, but just looking at him . . .

Really caught him off guard with those pictures.
Can't blame him for that.
Three of those postcard pictures.
Expose it does not fit in.
Expose living human kind got caught by our creator.
Without anyone being aware of the mess out there.

I highly doubt it. He's a Republican, so what does he care about America, when corporations are the only thing that's important?
