Well, i'm in geometry and my teacher gives us WPS (Weekly Practice Sheets). its basically reviews from stuff we learned before. Its just that i have no idea what these problems are...

1: Simplify: 2d(7 - d) + 3d(squared) Only the last d
2: Solve: -2/3f = 4(1/3f +1)
3: Solve: 5/2y = 7/y3
4: There is a triangle and i have to find the 3 sides.
Angles A, B, and C
Angle A shows (9x-6) degrees
Angle B shows (2x+2) degrees
Angle C shows (2x+2) degrees

All i know for #4 is that its an isosceles triangle and the mesures should all add up to 180 degrees.

P.S. (The / signs means its a fraction)

PLEASE HELP!!!

Problem 1:
Distribute the 2d into the parentheses:
2d(7 - d) + 3d²
2d(7) - 2d² + 3d²
14d - 2d² + 3d²
14d + d²

Now factor the d back out:
d(d + 14)

Problem 2:

-(2/3)f = 4(1/3f + 1)
Distribute the 4 through the parentheses:
-(2/3)f = 4/3f + 4

Add (2/3)f to both sides:
0 = 6/3f + 4
0 = 2f + 4
Subtract 4 from both sides:
2f = -4
Divide both sides by 2:
f = -2

Problem 3 (*with your correction):
5/(2y) = 7(y-3)

Multiply both sides by 2y:
5 = 7*2y / (y-3)

Multiply both sides by (y-3):
5(y-3) = 14y

Distribute the 5 through:
5y - 15 = 14y

Subtract 5y from both sides:
-15 = 9y

Divide both sides by 9:
y = -15/9

Reduce:
y = -5/3
or
y = -1 2/3

Problem 4:

(9x - 6) + (2x + 2) + (2x + 2) = 180
(9x + 2x + 2x) + (-6 + 2 + 2) = 180
13x - 2 = 180
13x = 182
x = 14

Now plug this back in for each angle.
Angle A = 9x - 6 = 9(14) - 6 = 126 - 6 = 120
Angle B = 2x + 2 = 2(14) + 2 = 28 + 2 = 30
Angle C = 2x + 2 = 30

So the angles are 120, 30, 30 respectively.

1. 14d - 2(d^2) + 3(d^2)
=14d + (d^2)
(just expanded then added like terms)

2.-2/3f = 4/3f + 4
(multiply throughout by 3) -2f = 4f + 12
-6f = 12
f = -2

3.if not too sure what you mean for this question, I'm just going to leave it out. don't want to give you a wrong answer.

4. you said that the sides add up to 180 (that's true), so add em up. A + B + C = 180
so (9x - 6) + (2x + 2) + (2x + 2) = 180
(collect like terms) 13x - 2 = 180
13x = 182
x = 14

angle A = 120, B = 30, C = 30
you say you need to find the 3 sides (you need at least one given, so ill assume that's a mistake and its meant to say angles).

1.(14d-2d(sq)+3d(sq))=14d+d(sq)
3.I think Ques is wrong.
2.on simplifying u get 2/3f=4
3f=1/2
f=1/6
4.9x-6+2x+2+2x+2=180
13x-2=180
x=182/13.
