I've had Boostmobile for a while and it was great with their premium plan, but lately they have been having so many problems with their computers I spend more time time talking with customer service than friends and family.

I travel alot so I need to be able to use it almost anywhere in the U.S.
I don't talk alot and good deals with text messages would be a plus.
It can be prepaid or with a contract.

Verizon Wireless is the way to go. You can get plans with unlimited text/pix/flix/im to anyone on any carrier anywhere in the U.S. which sounds like would fit you perfectly. Their new Nationwide plans include Mobile Web Internet access for free now and has the least expensive data rates out there. The messaging services and Get it Now services are even available on their extended networks. I have included links for you to check out the plans. In all fairness I have included links for Sprint and AT&T as well. Compare all options and you will see Verizon is the way to go.

Stay away from bran new phone services that are just flashy like boost and helio. Unless you are rich and you don't care what type of service you get. I have had Cingular or Att&T for two years now. Never had a dropped call, and it's extremely hard for me to find places where I live without service. But, it depends what you are looking for. With me it was the phone I wanted the Razr, which was a great phone, but that's it. How much are you willing to spend and what type of minutes are you looking for?

I'm using T-mobile contract and a tracfone. Tracfone actually is pretty good. Some places I have a weak signal on my T-mobile, but get more on my tracfone. I use my tracfone for back up!

If you work for a large corporation, find out who they use.
Also check to see if there is a corporate discount.
