Not for me. I lost my daughter a year ago and I get her pictures out constantly. They give me great joy.

Actually, yes I do. I remember doing that when an actor that I've seen almost my whole life died. I felt sad and like weird that I could see him and yet he's dead. Its strange, but its almost like I have that person on the tape, captured in the tape.....This is sounding a bit freaky.....I even feel that way when I see family pictures of relative who've died, I sort of flash back to a time when I knew them alive and it just seems too weird that they are dead - they still seem alive. Oh well, that's the best I can do. But, I think I get what you are saying.

Yeah I think I know what U mean.. Lyk in the picture they are alive, But in real life they are dead.. I think that when Im watching music videos.. Old ones that is. And I was looking through my school book and this guy commited suicide and I saw a picture of him and I was like "he's Dead!"
Yeah its hard to explain..

Nah. I've seen so many *actual* dead photos (where there are actually people that are dead in the picture..) to find it creepy to see a pic while they were still alive. Curse you disturbing websites that I find so darn intrestingly disgusting but yet can't turn away!

When I was younger I saw a picture on my aunt's mantle of this woman, and I said, "Whoa, it looks like she's dead" (not meaning in the picture she physically looked like she was dead but it looked to me as if it was one of those photos that people put in the newspaper after someone dies). That young woman had in fact died of cancer just months before. It was weird.

In my opinion your description was quite adequate for the purpose of asking this question and I understand it completely. I have often felt that same feeling when looking at photos from long years past.

yeah, even if i didn't know them..just looking at pictures of people in the newspaper that have died,it just feels so weird to think that they aren't there O.o and when it's a famous person it's so weird to think that like a few months ago,you were watching them on TV or listening to one of their songs..and you realise that they're just not there.weird :z

I wouldn't say I feel weird. I feel sad. But sometimes, it brings back happy memories. I think it depends on what my relationship with that person was, and whether I have regrets or not, and how long it's been.

I know exactly what you mean honey!
We had a death in the family not long ago and at times, whenever you look at that person picture,it feels so unreal and hard to believe that they gone.
