Yes and in many other instances too, not just niceness. Did you know to say thank you when someone hands you something?

Oh you betcha. Not only thank yous but lots of encouragement and smiles. Who knows if a smile is all someone needs to continue for one more day. It is fun being a blessing isn't it and you know who you are. Mmm Hugs to the GEM

Always. I even say it when someone doesn't do something nice for me. It's polite and it's how I was taught to be.

Thanks and peace also.

Always. You should always take the time to acknowledge when someone does something nice for you, especially when they go out of their way to do it.

And thank you for asking this question and letting me have 2 points.

Of course, that is how I was raised. I was always taught the importance of expressing gratitude for the things we are given.
